Energy Storage

Biosphere Capital's Dr Tam Tran is a co-developer of an innovative battery technology which, with partner Minutech Research Ltd, is being developed for use in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. The resulting vanadium-based batteries have 10 times the energy storage and 10 times the lifetime of conventional lead-acid batteries. Biosphere Capital aims to provide alternative UPS for use during power blackouts and to store energy from micro wind and solar generators.
